Looking for a thoughtful gift for your PTO volunteers and school staff? I have exactly what you need right here! Many of these ideas come with the bonus of being super affordable. Like pretty close to $1 a gift, which means that you can get one for everyone on your list!
When it comes to gifting, especially for holiday gifting, I tend to gravitate towards pampering and relaxation gifts most. And as for gift ideas for PTO volunteers and school staff who give so much of themselves to benefit others, well, it’s super nice to give something that they can use for themselves.
Here are a few of my favorite options!
De-Stress Spray
Mere minutes and 5 things is all it takes to whip of fabulous bottles of divine smelling de-stress spray!
First you’ll need some mini spray bottles. I prefer to give glass bottles instead of plastic ones. They hold up better and feel infinitely more luxurious.
Next, you’ll need some essential oils. My tried and true recipe uses both lavender and rosemary essential oils. Simply add 2 drops of lavender and 1 drop of rosemary and fill the bottle to the bottom of the neck with plain ole’ tap water. Make sure not to overfill the bottles and leave room for the sprayer or else it’ll overflow.
Once the bottles are all filled and the sprayers are screwed on tightly, you’re ready for the finishing touch: a label! To make it look less DIY and more luxurious, use a printable label. I really prefer Avery labels most of the time. The quality is absolutely superior to other label options out there and this particular version is not only easy to get off of the sheet, but you can print to the edge of the label for a gorgeous label design.
Did you know Avery offers templates to use with their labels? They’re fantastic and takes out the guesswork. Head to Avery’s website to snag the template for your label, then customize away!
Cost per gift: About $1.25
Prefer non-DIY gifts instead?
I have a few options that you can simply pop into a gift bag and call it a day!
Head Massager
If you are questioning giving a head massager as a gift, put all doubts aside. I got one of these little babies a few years ago and the second I used it, I was a true believer. It feels so, so, so good! I will be giving these to the school secretaries and building Principals (they got bottles of De-Stress Spray last year!).
Cost per gift: $3
Tea Infuser
How sweet is this leaf shaped tea infuser? Beyond the fun design, I like how practical it is. The silicone won’t get hot from sitting in the hot water and they’ve even thought of a little stand for the infuser after it’s been used. So awesome for not only PTO volunteers, but also for teachers and school staff who need a little break.
Cost per infuser: $1.57
Funny Note Pad
I really like this semi-snarky sticky note pad. I’m sure you can think of a few people (your entire Executive Board!) in your life who would appreciate them too!
Cute + Functional Clip Board
Make the work of PTO a little more fun with these colorful clipboards. I know the recipients will love the fun patterns! You can even customize the back of the clipboard with monograms!
Cost per gift: $2.60
